The laptop compartment is made with deep quilting and a thick AirBrake bottom cushion which gives great shock absorption.
Although the bag is quite slim, there’s enough room to fit some folders or other electrical devices. There are smaller pockets inside for a better way to organise things. Probably not a good idea to overstuff the bag though since it will look horribly bulky and the handles don’t seem to be strong enough to hold that kind of weight. Well reinforced, the grab handles are designed to stand stiffly upright so it can be quickly grabbed in a hurry. Being thickly padded due to the doubling up of the leather handles, it doesn’t leave hands red and raw when carried this way for a long time.
They’re quite short to carry on the shoulder but it can be carried on the arm without restriction. There’s also a detachable shoulder strap that can be adjusted to carry on the shoulder.
At the back is the laptop compartment which is thickly padded to protect a laptop and the main compartment has smaller pockets stitched in for small things. As the bag is quite slim, the main compartment can only fit in a few slim document wallets otherwise overfilling the bag won’t look pretty. With the front quick grab pocket, it’s quite big so a lot of things can be put in here and it’s secured with a metal lock clasp.

If you’re after a basic slim ladies laptop bag with a bit of style, then the Solo Executive Ultrabook Tote is the one for you. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much can fit in but inside will reveal a padded laptop pocket in the middle, a large pocket to fit a tablet, a zippered pocket and a pocket organizer section.
The zippered closure of the bag doesn’t zip down very deep so it can be awkward to reach for things so having the organizer section is quite handy.
Nicely padded and wrapped in a soft faux leather material, the handles sit comfortably on the shoulder when carrying the bag. It has a long drop length which doesn’t hit awkwardly against the body. The material looks harsh but surprisingly soft against the body.
Although it’s for Ultrabooks up to 15”, I could just about fit in a 15.6” slim laptop and a thin document folder or magazine. Attempting to overstuff the bag will just make it hard to zip up. This laptop bag for women is quite slim so don’t expect to fit a lot in but it’s enough for someone who doesn’t tend to carry a lot of stuff.

It’s not the most secure of laptop bags as it closes with a single buckle strap across the middle but it won’t be easy for anyone to take anything inside as the bag is quite deep.
There’s 1 small zipped internal pocket which can be used to keep valuables in such as a mobile phone and another 2 small open pockets for other small items. They’re stitched quite near the top so it’s ideal to keep quick access items in these.
The laptop compartment has a decent amount of padding but being in the middle, it’s quite well protected. Next to it there’s a sleeve that can fit a tablet up to 12” which is quite generous.
Having a wide depth means a lot can be fitted in this bag and the reinforced wide handles can take the weight as well as providing comfort whether it’s carried on shoulder or arm. With the luggage strap at the back, this allows the bag to be placed over a suitcase handle to make travelling easy. This bag is a worthy companion for a woman’s everyday bag especially when there’s a lot to carry.

A well designed slim women’s laptop bag that’s hard to go wrong with is what the TUMI Luggage Voyageur Macon Laptop Bag is. With its classic design, thick cushioning, excellent quality, light weight and durability, it’s at a reasonable price point when compared to most of the TUMI laptop bags.
One small problem is that it lacks ample space for more than a laptop and some personal stuff that can be organised into the accessories pocket inside the laptop compartment.
The large front pocket can fit a purse, keys and maybe some thin documents in addition to the laptop charger although this can probably go in with the laptop if it’s slim.
There’s just one zip for each compartment which is easy to grip for opening with the conveniently designed leather loop. It can be locked with a padlock to the D-ring on the side which is actually to hook the detachable shoulder strap onto.
There’s nothing fancy about the handles but they feature a thin strip of leather trim which makes it more comfortable to hold. If you’re flying with this bag, it’s made easy with the add-a-bag sleeve. You won’t be able to fit much in this laptop bag for women besides just the laptop and charger but it’s ideal if you’re a light commuter and that’s all you want to fit in for travel or work.

Though this one has a similar design to the previous one, this laptop bag offers more space with its gusseted main compartment that’s split in 2 sections with a divider which is ideal when there are documents and folders to be carried as well.
Inside, there’s also a small open pocket and zippered accessories pocket. Externally, it looks like there’s just the 1 small pocket but actually there’s a wide medium pocket that’s discreetly hidden which is the TUMI ID Lock pocket for hiding ID documents and cards.
The bag is given a luxurious look to it with the removable leather shoulder strap, small leather pocket flap and leather rope filled carry handles that’s securely stitched in and soft to hold.
With such a beautiful design combined with the well thought out practicality, it’s hard to go wrong with this bag. In my opinion, this is another one of TUMI’s best laptop bags for women that will surely last a long time and can even be passed down in the family thanks to the high quality materials and stitching making it money well spent.
